Announcement: Rev. Amber Lowe-Woodfork new Co-Director of Faith Organizing


Loose the Chains is happy to announce the Reverend Amber Lowe-Woodfork as the new Co-Director of Faith Organizing.  Rev. Amber’s responsibilities will involve helping mobilize people of faith throughout the state of Georgia around a progressive civic agenda and providing faith-based thought leadership in the public square.  She will also assist with connecting communities of faith to the work and mission of the New Georgia Project.

In addition to faith organizing Rev. Amber is the Pastor of Good News CME church, Lithonia, GA and is a recognized political campaign finance professional. She also ministers across the south preaching a message of justice, liberation and spiritual formation and teaches courses in philosophy, ethics and theology.

Academically Reverend Amber is a proud graduate of University of Mississippi and the Interdenominational Theological Center here in Atlanta.
